When you are writing an article or just writing you should never plagiarize, if u don’t know what the term plagiarize means, the meaning of “Plagiarism” according to Dictionary.com the term plagiarism means “an act or instance of using or closely imitating the language and thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of that author’s work as one’s own, as by not crediting the original author.” Plagiarizing can have serious consequences, like getting a 0 in a project, losing marks or being failed or getting kicked out if u plagiarize in post-secondary schools. Ways you can avoid plagiarism while writing an essay or doing a project, is by linking the sources that you used for your essay or project. You should also know what is your words and what is not your words. Changing the words will still count as plagiarism but u should also to make sure that you change the form of your writing. You should also make sure you know what words you used from the source you used. You should also know what your source means, if u don’t understand your source you should find one that you understand so it will be easier for you to write off of.
